Tacos Garcia's started the way most honest things do — in a kitchen, with a recipe that wouldn't stop getting better. What began as weekend gatherings for friends and family became something the whole neighborhood showed up for.

We're on US Highway 41 in Ruskin because this is where we live, where our kids go to school, where our abuela's recipes actually make sense. Every tortilla is hand-pressed. Every marinade is mixed in a batch. Every margarita is shaken like someone's actually waiting for it.

The bar stays open late because some of us like to talk. The kitchen opens early because some of us like breakfast. We don't believe in rushing either one.
